ABOUT
US
History
GSSI and its
predecessors started back in 1969 in London, England from
the realization that you, the individual is often
unrepresented or at a disadvantage in today's global
economy. We felt you, the individual could benefit from
our specialized individual representation not only to;
locate the assets/property/money, identify how they are
held, held by whom, evaluate the recovery process and how
to prove you, our client's legal claim and entitlement
before finally fulfilling the holder's specific
requirements to successfully recover the
asset/property/money in question.
We live in an
increasingly mobile society with people constantly moving
around the world, owning residences in different
countries, giant multinational corporations where you the
individual is but one of hundreds of thousands of
shareholders/customers, rising numbers of international
mergers and acquisitions, people dying and their estate
comprising assets spread globally, etc all mean assets
are being misplaced or lost more readily and with little
being done for you, the individual
claimant/heir/beneficiary.
Unclaimed assets are
held in many forms, by a multitude of different holders
and in any country of the world. We offer a specialized,
individualized global service to help those
claimants/heirs/beneficiaries worldwide who have become
separated from their property/assets, recover what is
rightfully theirs. Our proprietary knowledge, contacts
and research techniques allow us to find people and/or
assets globally that others cannot, and on a contingency
fee basis with no risk to our client.
How
we work
Contingency fee
One of the first
questions we are invariably asked and understandably so,
is about our fee.
We work by way of a
contingency fee as we believe this is the fairest and
most equitable way to undertake our work on your/our
client's behalf. As the word contingency implies we only
receive our fee by way of a share (percentage) of the
asset/funds we have firstly recovered for you/our client.
If we are unsuccessful then there is no cost to you
whatsoever. Furthermore, there are no 'out of pocket'
expenses and no hidden fees or costs. We put our
reputation, experience, expertise, research costs, time
and efforts on the line and only receive compensation by
way of our fee if and when we are successful for you. You
therefore have nothing to lose in proceeding and using
our services.
We receive assignments
from our associates around the world, handling their
difficult to locate cases regarding property, estates and
claimants/heirs/beneficiaries all over the world.
Our experience and
proprietary knowledge allows us to not only locate
difficult to find claimants/heirs/beneficiaries globally
but also to successfully resolve such cases. These cases
are more complicated due to their international nature,
where we have to contend with amongst other things;
different foreign laws/jurisdictions, obtaining
international documents sometimes many decades old from
various sources and countries, different languages,
testate and intestate death claims with often multiple
heirs located in several different countries, etc. We
also have to comply with case specific requirements
(often non-conforming to the country where the
claimant/heir/beneficiary/estate is located), arrange
legal representation (where we decide it is necessary),
and do in-depth genealogical research, etc, all of which
is covered by our fee. Each specific requirement and need
must be fully satisfied.
Our comprehensive Asset
Recovery Program has been established many years and
continues to evolve. We and our associates represent
those clients/heirs/beneficiaries we locate, and assist
them throughout their case specific recovery process to
finally and successfully recover the asset/property/funds
so they can be paid.
Legitimacy
We understand this is an
unusual business we are in, one which most people are
unaware of and unfamiliar with.
Firstly
we would not have gone to all this trouble to locate you,
likely in a foreign country, were this not a legitimate
matter.
Secondly,
the information we have about you or your family, whether
it is an old address, a relative's name, dates and places
of birth/death/marriage, etc are case specific and
indicative of the research efforts we have expended to
identify you are the person we need to find and then to
locate you.
Thirdly,
we have an excellent reputation established since 1969
and we would not continue to receive assignments from our
many associates.
Furthermore,
we have testimonial ('thank you') letters from our
clients all over the world, who we helped receive and be
paid money they did not know about or could not recover.
Lastly
but not least, we work by way of a contingency fee, with
no hidden costs or expenses, where we only receive
payment when we are firstly successful in recovering the
asset(s) in question for you our client. Our fee comes
from these funds. If we are unsuccessful then there is no
fee due to us.
The above points should
help convince you of our efforts to locate you and the
legitimacy of our work. We hold all information in
strictest confidence.
We are sure you can
appreciate we cannot do this work for free, so we ask
that in return for helping you receive payment, you share
a portion of the proceeds of the asset(s) you did not
know of and/or could not recover yourself but which we
have recovered for you. We think this is the fairest and
most equitable way to do this work.
Our previous fees from
successful recoveries allow us to expend the time and
costs to identify and examine your case and then to
locate you prior to recovering the unclaimed property
asset(s) on your behalf.

Dear Johan,
I would like to confirm receipt of your cheque. We were
very surprised when we heard from you in February, we did
not know of the existence of shares my late father had
owned. We are very pleased you made the effort to contact
us. You have gone through much trouble to regain the
asset and we are very grateful you wanted to act as an
attorney in law for us. Thank you for all your trouble.
